Norwegian guitarist Trond Kallevåg and Chicago-based tabla player Krissy Bergmark unite Norwegian-American music traditions with Indian rhythms, creating an unparalleled auditory experience.
Trond Kallevåg, renowned for his innovative guitar playing and melodic compositions, joins forces with one of the foremost young tabla players in the USA, Krissy Bergmark, to deliver a genre-transcending musical experience. Inspired by Norwegian-American cultural exchange and the exploration of boundaries between different musical traditions, they create a completely unique sound.
Bergmark is soon to release her solo album, “Everything’s Glacial Shine”. Kallevåg has previously released four albums: “Minnesota”, “Amerikabåten” (2023), “Bedehus & Hawaii” (2019), and “Fengselsfugl” (2021) on the renowned label Hubro, and is known for his cinematic and instrumental musical universe.
